I recently had reason to join a traffic exchange, mainly as an test to see whether it would increase the traffic to my website.
I’d just like to make a couple of observations regarding what I found. Now, I have to admit something of a biased view here. I am normally not a great fan of traffic exchanges. The main reason people join them is to get people to come to look at their particular offer. Now, given the main motivation of these people for going through the mind numbing exercise of click wait 20 seconds click wait 20 seconds click ad nauseum is to get people to visit their site the reality is you have maybe two seconds to grab their interest. However, from what I have seen some ‘traffic exchange junkies’ just wouldn’t have clue. They fit into three categories
The long explanation page that I need to scroll down to read all of it. My response: If I can’t see it all in one screen view, without the scrolling, I’m not interested.
The page that takes fifteen seconds to load. My response: If it takes so long to load that the timer runs out before I have a chance to read it, that probably means it’s a whole lot of hype trying to sell me something. Not interested.
The page that piques my interest but gives me no link to follow it up. My response: Believe it or not, I have actually found that situation on more than one occasion. The message was short, snappy and raised my interest. But I could not find any link to follow through. Oops, 20 seconds up, next page. Too bad, another potential customer gone.
So are they a waste of time? In cases like those I have just outlined, absolutely. However, you can work the system and, if you have a brief, one screen view description with an active link you can get people to click from your ‘teaser’ to your actual site.(It helps if you code it so your actual sales pitch opens in a new window and you let the visitor know that) I have done that with a reasonable degree of success. It depends on how desperate you are for traffic, your conversion rate, and what each new customer is worth to you in the long term.
Why devote your time, money and energy to marketing to a massive group of people without first knowing whether they have any interest in what you might decide to offer them?
Decide who your target market is going to be!
* are they online business builders like yourself
* are they already product users of similar products to your ideas.
Do your research and discover where your prospective customers gather to communicate and then target that community, and direct all of your communications to that group rather than to use a broadcast approach and hope that some of your messages will find an audience.
You will find that by selectively targeting your prospects before marketing to them, your opt in ratio will be much higher than you would achieve sending out widespread general advertisements about your company or products. It is better to get 2 opt-ins from every 100 visitors than 20 from 10,000 visitors.
First, you can actually research a niche market without anyone knowing you are looking around. All you have to do is visit forums, groups, or communities that have been put together so people within that market can communicate and discuss what is important to them. Watch for questions like “Where can I find a…” or “How do I…”.
Second, become a member of the target niche market yourself. Actively participate in the forums, groups, and communities to learn first hand some of the problems that exist within the target market. By doing this, you will come across ideas that will help others within the niche market , and discover what products or services you should be promoting.
Third, conduct a survey that asks prospective customers things like “What is your biggest concern with …..?”. You will be amazed how much information they will share with you when you simply ask them.
Increase the survey response by offering to send them a free report, a discount coupon, or sample product if they answer your survey questions or you are able to answer their questions for them.
Then , answer this question “Why would somebody communicate with you, or read your ads anyway?
If you can honestly answer this question, you have a candidate for being in your target market.
Do you want to learn more about how I do it? I have just completed my brand new guide to creating profits online: “How to Breath Life into Your On-Line Business”

We always use Adobe Photoshop, a lot of free tutorial which you can find in internet by keyword ” photoshop tutorial for web”. To your exercise we have provided a web namely “http://www.dokumenkerja.comâ€?, you can download download and have modification the website which you wish.
3.Authoring Web Software
Then we need authoring web software like Adobe Dreamweaver to make a html page. Besides Dreamweaver, some designer used Microsoft Frontpage. Like also Photoshop to learn the Dreamweaver, we can search free tutorial on internet. Or you can buy some books for Dreamweaver or Frontpage on bookstore.
4.Make Interactivity
Without interactivity, a Website is purely a book online. Interactive sites capture user details online and monitor what users do inside the system. The more visitors can interact and ‘do things’ on the site, the more likely they are to revisit. To make this you can learn about web programming like php and asp.
5.Make Video, Flash, Shockwave and Audio

These are the basic skill must know to be great web designer and to become the expert needed by a practice and get the real project in develop a website. Have a nice experiment in website design.
Use free web templates or build your own website from scratch - there are many professional web designers and companies that offer free web site templates. Use them and build a web site online for free - you need to download the free template (Web2earn also offers some excellent downloadable free website templates) and then customize it to suit your needs.
If you want to build a free business web site, try a more serious and corporate color scheme and layout, or go with a lively and dynamic web template if you are building a site to sell teenage apparel. You can also build a site from scratch. In this case, you need to have some serious web design and development knowledge, especially if you want to use your website as a way to make money online.
Don’t venture out to build a Yahoo web site, or any other large site clone, as that will probably take more than one person to complete. After you build a web site online for free, it’s also time to find some free or cheap hosting for it. There are hundreds of services offering free hosting, but the disadvantage is that they place ads on your website, which will take away some of your visitors.
If you want to build a free business web site, we recommend that you consider buying your own domain, as a free hosting domain will look extremely unprofessional.

Webmasters, let’s make some money by utilizing article submission directories! It’s no joke, the internet can be a daunting realm to overcome and prosper in. There are millions more failing web-based entrepreneurs than their successful counterparts. How does one succeed? How can you find your way to the top of the internet mountain? One smashing new trend is the use of article submission services. They come in both the paid and free varieties. Here’s how it goes:
Let us say that you have a given product or service that you wish to market on the internet. That makes it a given that you wish to attract oven-fresh, hot, targeted leads to your website. Those potential consumers are going to most likely begin a search on one of the major search engines concerning the given niche. That’s where you want to pop into their lives. By anticipating not only a sellable entity, but also by learning how to develop good search engine page ranking, you will be the expert that they are exposed to with their searches.
So you write an article that explains why you are such an expert in the field that they need. As a matter of fact, you write it and rewrite it in several different forms, using synonyms and differing sentence structures while maintaining consistent meaning and attractiveness. You employ different article submission services to vastly distribute your knowledge webwide, giving each one a singularly impacting version of your creative knowledge. This in turn drives these hungry consumers to your website before the competition steals them from under you.
Now that you have them on your site instead of the thousands of others, you have to sell them through the design and professional content of your site itself. That’s another story. To get them there is half of the battle though. Article submission directories are an impressive way to generate that all-important smooth road in that travelers of the web need. Get to writing or hire a writer. Submit your knowledge for the world to judge, and then sell them! That’s the ticket. That’s one way to make it to the top. Now Go!
Searching for something on the internet through various search engines can at time prove a nightmare. A website will offer little help if it cannot be found easily through the major search engines. Having your website optimized for the kind of phrases that people use in order to find your type of business or products will do miracles for your company. Simply put, search engine optimization informs the search engines of which searches you want to be found for, and allows potential customers to find you easily.
However, in many cases, even if you locate a website you were looking for, you may find yourself lost in its pages, wondering exactly what they are about or what information they cover. These are signs of bad structure and lack of usability. It is very important to have a clear, comprehensive structure, allowing visitors to your website to navigate it easily. This can be done by letting them know where they are at all times, and allowing them to go back and forth from various pages without difficulty. Making it straightforward and quick for visitors to find what they are looking for, will keep them on your website.
Once a website that has been searched for is found and it has been made clear which products or services the company has to offer, visitors may not be impressed and they will resort to looking at a competitors website. A large number of websites are designed and developed by amateurs. A company’s image can either be strengthened or weakened by its website. Having a badly designed website may damage a company’s image; however, having a professional looking, well designed website will instil confidence in the company’s expertise and encourage customers to choose them for their products and services.
Creating a high quality website is something many people would like to do. Most however never get around to it. They feel it’s something other people do and normal people don’t. That attitude is simply false. If you have thought of creating your own website nothing should stop you, it can be relatively easy to do depending on your intentions. There are two main types of websites: 1) Those for personal use (family, friends and not for profit), and 2) those intended to earn the owner money (for profit).
This article focuses on websites created for personal reasons such as sharing photos, chronicling travels for family members to stay up to date with you while you’re away, creating a site for you and your fiance all about your wedding plans. Whatever you want to do, it is possible. The first thing you will want to do is find a web publishing program you can use called a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). These programs allow you to create a website quickly and without the need for any programming in HTML or any other web design language. Examples of these programs are Microsoft Front Page, Adobe Dreamweaver and the list goes on from there. There are free WYSIWYG programs on the internet, just browse the search engines.
Once you have found the program you like best its time to get started. When creating your site remember to make it very simple for users to understand and navigate. Make menus very clearly labeled and keep images to a minimum unless images are the main theme of that particular page. Maintain a consistent color theme for your site and do not stray from it (i.e. if links are blue and test is black on your first page, they should be on all of your other pages as well. You should not have blue links and black text on one page and red links with yellow text on another).
After you have your main pages together (index.html and a couple of other pages full of content). It’s time to start thinking of where you will put your website. Now there are plenty of free places that will host your site for you, which means you will have no costs whatsoever, and for many people this is perfect. The main drawback of this is that the URL for your site will be long and use the domain of the host-site. For example if you are using Geocities your web address where your site is located will be http://www.geocities.com/yoursite.com.
If you want to have your own domain your in luck, these days it is not that expensive to have your own domain, its just for businesses anymore, for as little as 40 or 50 dollars you can register a domain and pay for hosting for 1 year and your web address is then http://www.yoursite.com, much better if you ask me. Search for website hosting on any search engine and you will have plenty of options to compare.
Now you have a website ready for publishing, an address for people to find it at, and space to host your site, now all you need is to get your site onto your hosts site and into the folder for your site. For this you will need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. Some WYSIWYG programs have FTP built in so you can upload your website with the same program you create it with, simplifying the process. If you do not have this luxury then you will need to download an FTP program, some are free other cost just a bit and are worth it. SmartFTP is a nice little program that I myself use quite often, it is worth paying the small fee to register. There are of course many programs to choose from so you may want to do a bit of testing to see which you like best.
Once you have the FTP program simply enter your domain (www.yoursite.com), your username and password you received when you got your hosting account and click to connect to your domain. Then it is simply a matter of finding your pages and moving copies of them over to your domain (uploading them). Just remember that your main page must be index.html and your images should be kept in a folder called images.
You can always update your pages and simply upload them with your FTP program, overwrite the old version and voile, your site has been updated with the changes you made.
Happy Webmastering!
What can my company do with a website?
1. To save money for your company
Website is the cheapest salesman, information centre, or advertising company, for it is working 24 hours, posting unlimited information, advertising for your company tirelessly all the time!

3. To improve your company’s competitive ability
4. To provide much more convenience for your business
5. To have a pubic image in internet
Two ways to have a website
Basically there are two ways to have a website: 1, to have your website designed by a professional site design company; 2, to have a free website just by accepting a free site provider’s service. We call these two types of websites as custom website and free website, merits and shortcomings of each are listed below for your reference.
Merits of custom website design
• If you accept a custom website design, then you will have a totally independent site with a totally independent domain name, being independent means that you will have a website which can display your company image to a full degree.
• Being custom means being individual, you will have a site design team who listen to your needs carefully, thus no matter what function you want, they will try their best to realize it for you on an equally cooperating basis.
• A custom website can guarantee you with a fast download speed, secure and stable site.
Shortcomings of custom website design
1. Period of designing a website is relatively longer compared with free website, the specific period depends largely on the website the company needs.
2. If you want to revise your website, then you can only realize it through the hands of a site design company, and a revision fee is probably be charged.
Merits of free website
• The biggest merit is free of course, you can have a website just by choosing a template you like and then modify it according to the content. No programming is needed and even the first-timer can have one easily.
• Time for building a free website is rather short, just several minutes you can finish the entire job. Since many templates are available, so you can change your website’s look freely and without any extra charges.
Shortcomings of free website
1. Since you are choosing a template to present your website, so chances for meeting a similar website is quite large. If you have any special needs, such as message board, forum, news and article management system, etc, then you will be let down for free website can’t provide you with such functions.
2. A free website can’t guarantee you with a fast download speed, secure and stable site.
3. Though it is said to be free, but usually a low fee is charged every year.
Basic rules you have to bear in mind when designing your website.
1. Select a domain name which is informative and easy to remember Your domain name is just like your name card, people won’t be able to remember you if your domain name is too long. Choose a domain name which can tell people what kind of products or services you can provide, thus people can remember you with a specific memory.
2. Content is king
What a visitor looking for on your website is the information about the product or services he want, so enrich your content and try to provide your visitors with as much information as you can.
3. Design for your audience
The basic purpose for designing a website is to attract more audience, so do some research to find what your audience like and try to meet their taste.
4. Design an SEO friendly website
People find your website through search engines, so design a SEO friendly website, otherwise your website will be sadly hidden in an unknown corner.
5. Take care of your website all the time.
People always get bored with old things, so if your website remains the same all the time, then visitors will leave it and nerve return. Update and fresh your website regularly, so charm of it can be kept. How to choose a good custom website designer?
1. Make sure they can understand you.
Since your website is designed by someone else, make sure you can communicate with the site design company freely and without any difficulty. Only through communication, your needs can be realized.
2. Ask for the guarantee of high quality.
3.Compare cost when quality is guaranteed.
Does my business need a website?
Of course you need. What other medium allows you to expose all the benefits of your small business to your target market at their convenience and provide a source of direct correspondence from them to you? The benefits of a website are innumerable. Many people overlook the various products, services, or deal processes they can include on a business website. Any communication or interactions that happen within your business can be made easier and more efficient by the web. Your business will save money and time while appealing to a much greater audience, the world.
What can a website do for me?
A website can help your business in 6 ways:
1. Consumers search for products and services online before making purchases. Being found on the Internet will give you an advantage over your competition when they call you instead of the competition.
2. You are able to conduct business when it is convenient for your client whether it be during the day or in the middle of the night. You are never actually closed. If you choose an e-commerce website, your customers can shop with you 24 hours.
3. Consumers can become educated about your business and get answers to many of their questions which will help to cut back on the number of phone calls you receive with simple inquiries.
4.Your website can provide further support to existing customers by offering information such as troubleshooting procedures, product specification and parts list, how-to procedures, diagrams, and special help lines. By having this help available 24 hours a day you will be able to decrease the number of custom service employees you have on staff.
5. There is potential for your website to become a resource of information for the public. By supplying helpful tips and articles that are relevant to your industry you will have a number of repeat visitors
6. Consumers have more confidence in and prefer doing business with companies that they know something about. Inform visitors about the structure of your company, of your community involvement, the products and services you offer, awards, and employment opportunities.
Can you choose a best domain name for me?
We will choose the most suitable name for you, depends on how you are going to use it. If you are going to be telling people over the phone, choose one that is easy to say and spell out loud. Above all, I would choose one that is memorable and not confusing.
How many pages do I need?
This all depends on how much content you have. Every business website should have an ‘About Us’ page (or something similarly titled) to tell your visitors about your business. After that, it depends on what type of business you have. A good rule of thumb is to not overwhelm your audience with too much information on each page. Disperse the information and break it up into digestable pages and paragraphs. Long pages of text tend to overwhelm the reader. Break content up to truly get your audience’s attention.
Why should I choose you to build a website?
We’re custom web site design company. There are many reasons why custom web site design should be your first and only choice when creating your own web site . When you look through the internet and surf through the web, what do you see? You see the exact same web site over and over again with a different title and a different color. Is this what you want your new web site to be? The same as everyone else’s. No! Your web site should be new and improved and innovative, something that people will want to tell their friends about, something that they will want to read through and learn more about your product because they are so impressed by your design. It is all about the looks initially. Once you draw them in with your gorgeous design, you have them hooked. This is what you need to do.
